Flex Seal Brite: Now in Off-White!
Is black just not the right color for you? Then you can still experience the benefits of Flex Seal thanks to the introduction of the Flex Seal Brite product line! Flex Seal Brite is just like the traditional black waterproof product, except that it is off-white instead of black.
Both colors are paintable, but many people find that the off-white color requires fewer coats of paint to blend in to the surface they have applied it on. If you are applying Flex Seal Brite to an off-white surface, then you don’t have to paint it at all! This makes repairs even faster and easier! Do you have off-white gutters on your house that are leaking? Not a problem! Just spray on some Flex Seal Brite and the job is done… it just doesn’t get easier than that.
It’s Like Liquid Duct Tape
Flex Seal is a wonderful product that makes many common household repairs quick and easy to do. Just clean the surface, shake the can and spray it on.
Besides the obvious shingle patch or leaking gutter repairs I have thought of a lot of other ideas that are perfect for Flex Seal. Need a non-slip surface on your front steps? How about a flexible patch on your garden hose?
It is essentially a liquid rubber that you can just spray on to any surface that you want. Since it is waterproof, many people like to use it to fix leaks, repair pipes, or even repair shingles. Flex Seal spray is a flexible, easy-to-use solution for every home owner.
Perfect For a Waterproof Quick Fix
Flex Seal is the perfect product to have around when you need a quick fix that is strong, flexible and waterproof too.
Chances are you have probably seen the short informercial that is played on TV at least once. In it, the creator of the product actually takes a boat with a screen door for a bottom out into the water. The screen door has been coated in Flex Seal and actually keeps the boat afloat!
This is kind of funny, but it also proves an important point about Flex Seal - this stuff is truly waterproof and works to be able to patch “any size” hole. Now granted, most of us aren’t going to use Flex Seal to patch a screen door sized hole in a boat, but the demonstration shows us just how effective Flex Seal spray can be!
Flex Seal Is So Easy to Use, Anyone Can Use It!
When you spray Flex Seal onto your targeted surface, it is a good idea to take your time and put down several layers if you want a thicker coating. This will allow the spray to penetrate into each layer and create a more permanent water tight bond.
- Make sure the surface you are repairing is clean.
- Spray your first layer of Flex Seal by holding the can level to the ground with the spray nozel about 1 to 2 feet away from the surface.
- Keep the can moving when you apply the coating. It’s much better to apply multiple thin coats than one thick and gloopy coat.
- Let the product dry for at least a few minutes before applying another coat.
- You are Done! It’s as easy as that.
The best part about Flex Seal is that it effectively works on a variety of surfaces: you can patch tile, wood, concrete, asphalt, metal, rubber, vinyl, glass, drywall… just about anything that you can imagine! If you are applying it onto a wet surface, it will still do the trick… but it may take longer to dry. For best results apply to a dry surface.
The same rule applies if it is raining or the humidity is very high when you apply Flex Seal. There is no need to worry, however, as it will still dry and create a perfectly watertight bond.
Is Flex Seal Right For You?
I believe that Flex Seal is a wonderful and flexible product. From the first time I saw the infomercial, my mind started going through all of the great uses for such a handy liquid rubber spray.
After reading my complete Flex Seal review, you will agree that it is a great product as well because its uses are many, its cost is affordable, and it is a product that does exactly what it says it will do.
Some people think of it as liquid caulk, but the reality is that Flex Seal is a spray rubber sealant. Whatever you want to call Flex Seal, you will find that it is definitely a convenient product to keep around for whenever you need a quick fix.
